Professor V. Ulansky participated in the 16th Academic Reputation Survey (2026) conducted by Clarivate—a global provider of information and analytical services that developed the Web of Science™ and InCites™ platforms. His participation contributes to evaluating the academic reputation of the world's leading universities and research institutions. The Academic Reputation Survey is an international expert study whose results, alongside other data, are used to form the U.S. News & World Report Best Global Universities Rankings ( https://www.usnews.com/education/best-global-universities/rankings )—a global ranking and information resource for the academic community, university management, and students worldwide. Participation in the survey is strictly by invitation only. To ensure objectivity and statistical significance, participants are carefully selected based on their geographical location and field of research. One of the main sources for identifying potential respondents is the list of authors of publications indexed in the Web of Science™ Core Collection database. In 2025, 3,434 researchers and academics from 106 countries were selected to participate in the survey. Among them were 429 respondents from Europe, including 94 experts in the field of engineering and technology.
