On July 25–26, representatives of the Faculty of Aeronautics, Electronics and Telecommunications of KAI took part in the Huawei ICT Academy Summer Camp 2026 — a two-day professional development program for lecturers, instructors, and administrators of Huawei ICT Academy Ukraine.
FAET was represented at the event by the Dean of the Faculty Roman Odarchenko, Vice Dean Alla Pinchuk, as well as instructors of Huawei ICT Academy and KAI Huawei Excellence Center Maryna Maloied and Roman Hamretskyi.
The Summer Camp brought together representatives of educational institutions from various regions of Ukraine, serving as a platform for sharing experience in using modern digital technologies in the educational process. Participants discussed the integration of Huawei educational resources into academic curricula, current teaching methodologies for ICT disciplines, preparation of students and lecturers for international certifications, and the development of cooperation between universities and the tech industry.
As part of the program, Alla Pinchuk delivered a presentation titled "Integration of the Huawei IdeaHub Solution into the HEI Educational Process: The KAI Example." During her talk, she presented the experience of the Kyiv Aviation Institute in implementing the interactive Huawei IdeaHub solution and using it during classes, presentations, collaborative work between faculty and students, as well as organizing remote and blended interaction.
Special attention was paid to the practical capabilities of the interactive panel, the use of digital tools for visualizing learning materials, engaging students in teamwork, and creating a modern educational space. KAI's experience demonstrated how technological solutions can enhance teaching quality, communication efficiency, and the practical orientation of the educational process.
The Huawei ICT Academy Summer Camp 2026 program also included professional networking, interactive sessions, team activities, and the exchange of best practices among members of the academic community. Significant focus was placed on the certification of lecturers and instructors, particularly preparation for obtaining official HCAI instructor status and advancing through subsequent levels of international Huawei certification.
For FAET, participating in the event was an important opportunity to showcase its own experience in the digital transformation of education, expand professional network, and gain new ideas for the further development of the Huawei ICT Academy and the KAI Huawei Excellence Center.

We express our gratitude to the Huawei Ukraine team for the high level of organization, a rich program, and for creating a professional environment for the development of modern ICT education in Ukraine.
