FAET - Integration of Ukrainian universities into European digital innovation networks

Date and time: February 18, 2022, 15:00-16:30 online via ZOOM conference.

Main objectives of the seminar:

• Present available opportunities for establishing partnerships with European innovation networks in the field of digital technologies to university leadership and innovation community leaders in education, science, and business;
• Discuss ways to create and develop innovation structures in higher education institutions in cooperation with business;
• Exchange experiences in attracting external support at regional, national, and international levels.

The Agency of European Innovations NGO will deliver a keynote presentation on the main results and recommendations of the EU4Digital initiative on ICT Innovation, as well as funding opportunities for innovation partnerships under the Horizon Europe and Erasmus+ programs.

We invite representatives of universities and research institutes to share their experience, challenges, problems, and operational practices.

Expected outcome for seminar participants. Formation of concrete plans for engaging relevant partners to prepare projects for developing innovation ecosystems at higher education institutions in Ukraine.

The Agency of European Innovations NGO is ready to discuss cooperation details in 2022 with participants interested in such collaboration.

Main webinar speakers:

• Ivan Kulchytskyi, President of the Agency of European Innovations NGO, National Contact Point for the Horizon 2020 program in ICT.
• Volodymyr Nochvai, Head of the Open Innovations Laboratory at Kyiv Academic University, Senior Researcher at IPMMS NAS of Ukraine, expert at "Center for Innovation Development" public union and the national ICT Innovation expert network of the Eastern Partnership Initiative and EU's "EU4Digital".

Event organizational details. Participation is free upon prior registration via the online form. There will also be an online broadcast on the Agency of European Innovations NGO Facebook page. After the event, the lecture video and presentation will be posted on the Agency's YouTube channel.
