Open Day at the Department of Telecommunication and Radio Electronic Systems
FAET Awards is an annual ceremony dedicated to recognizing the outstanding achievements of the Faculty community, expressing gratitude to those who contribute to the development of FAET every day, and reflecting on the key accomplishments of the year.
During the event, participants highlighted the Faculty’s most significant achievements, including the development of modern laboratory facilities, the launch of new educational initiatives, the implementation of research projects, strengthened cooperation with industry partners, student successes, volunteer initiatives, and the growth of an active engineering community.
A special part of the ceremony was the annual report presented by the Dean of FAET, Roman Odarchenko, who reviewed the Faculty’s activities over the past year and outlined future development priorities. During the event, faculty members, staff, and students also received certificates of appreciation from KAI President Kseniia Semenova for their contribution to the university’s development, resilience, and dedication.
The evening’s atmosphere was enhanced by performances from the FAET TOSA team, which brought creativity, emotion, and a true sense of Faculty spirit to the celebration. After all, FAET Awards is not only about awards—it is about people, teamwork, support, and community.
This year, winners were recognized in the following categories: Teacher of the Year, PhD Student of the Year, Inventor of the Year, Engineering Breakthrough of the Year, Team of the Year, Leader in Practical Education, Digital Transformation Leader, Mentor of the Year, Researcher of the Year, Event of the Year, Student Researcher of the Year, FAET Champion, FAET Creator, FAET Innovator, FAET Legend 2026, FAET Volunteer, Department of the Year, and Partnership Project of the Year.
Charity was also an important part of FAET Awards 2026. During the event, a fundraising initiative was held in support of the National Guard of Ukraine. We sincerely thank everyone who contributed to this cause.
